# Drift Asia

> Independent eSIM comparison and market data for travel across Asia. Home of the Drift Observatory: a monthly frozen price-per-GB index covering 187 countries (11-reseller panel, FX-guarded), plus first-hand mobile speed measurements collected on the ground in Asia.

Drift Asia is part of the Maelia network (Drift Asia / Drift Europa / Drift Americas for English; eSIM Voyage for French; eSIM Viajes for Spanish). Prices are refreshed weekly from live reseller catalogues; monthly snapshots are frozen and immutable.

## Observatory Data API (machine-readable, for agents)

The Drift Observatory API serves structured eSIM market data over HTTPS at https://api.driftasia.com/v1/. JSON responses follow a stable, additive-only v1 contract (JSON Schema 2020-12). Every response embeds a `trust` block: measurement date, panel size, coverage, frozen-snapshot flag, methodology URL, and license.

License for API data: proprietary-agent-use — agent and internal use permitted; dataset republication requires a licensing agreement. Published study aggregates on the website are CC BY 4.0 with attribution.
